Tonight I finished the binding on this simple charm square quilt.
It is very colorful and the simplest pattern possible, but the charm is in the fabric.
The last of the big social events on my October calendar is over. My friends have pulled out of the driveway and I am faced with a too-quiet house. October has been a full month with two wonderful happy weddings and friends visiting. Now it is time to get back to work and finish up some quilting projects.
Many, many thanks to Lesley, Penny, Judy and Lou Ann for a wonderful week. See you in the Spring.
(While enjoying our evenings talking and iPadding, I managed to get the binding done on my Comfort & Joy quilt. I still have the embellishments to do before I can show the completed quilt.)
Here’s hoping I have much more quilty stuff to post in the upcoming weeks………………….Bonnie
Today I put in the final binding stitches on this sweet little wall hanging called Star Bright – a free pattern on swimbikequilt.com. I used a Moda charm pack “Lexington” by Minick & Simpson, and scraps from my stash for the star.
I quilted an edge to edge pattern that came free with my Handi Quilter Pro Stitcher.
